Huntington Beach, CA – July 22 – The 2014 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics, the world’s largest water polo tournament, starts this Saturday in the Palo Alto/San Jose, CA area. Over 10,000 athletes will compete among some 600 teams at 29 different locations during the week of water polo action. Session 1 featuring 10U girls and all boy’s competition will take place from July 26-29 followed by Session 2 which will take place July 31-August 3 featuring 10U mixed and all girl’s competition. Prior to the start of each session, the JO Expo will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in San Jose on Friday, July 25th and Wednesday, July 30th. A live webcast will be provided free of charge by CoachesAid.com for all the gold medal matches in the championship tournament platinum division. The Southwest Zone has teams entered from West Houston WP (Viper Pigeons), Thunder WPC, Jesuit Water Polo, Longhorn Aquatics and HOLA.
