Reminder: TAGS Water Polo Registration Ends April 15th

This is a friendly reminder the team entry deadline is this week for the Texas Age Group State Water Polo Championship (TAGS, 8th/6th Grade & younger) on Saturday – Sunday, April 23-24 in Rosenberg  TX (suburb of Houston).  We will be extending the team entry deadline to Friday, April 15th.  Therefore, please email your team’s commitment to play in the TAGS Water Polo Championship by Friday, April 15th to joelinehan@usawaterpolo.org. Please include specific team names and divisions.  If you know your team will be playing, please email ASAP.  A tournament schedule will be emailed to all teams on Monday, April 18th.

The tournament this year will be a two day event with all teams getting 4-5 games over the two day tournament hosted by the Southwest Zone of USA Water Polo and the Viper Pigeons Water Polo Club. There will be three divisions for the TAGS Water Polo Championship:  8th Grade & Younger Boys-Coed/14U, 8th Grade & Younger Girls/14U, and 6th Grade & Younger Coed/12U.  Athletes must meet both the grade and age eligibility in order to compete.  The age will be defined as the age of the athlete on Saturday, April 23rd.  This will be a USA Water Polo sanctioned event using USA Water Polo rules & regulations.
