22-23 ODP Southwest Zone National Team Selections
After much thought and feedback from our Zone Coaching staff as well as feedback from our National Coaching staff, the selections for our zone have been finalized.
The zone would like to congratulate the selected athletes for making our 2023 ODP Zone Team. We look forward to continuing our work together and competing in the ODP National Championships. For those of you who were not selected, thank you for challenging yourself at the region tournament and putting as much effort as you could into the opportunity. Selection this year was very difficult, and the coaching staff was very impressed with everyone’s effort and experience level.
Each zone team will compete in the ODP national championship tournament. The tournament will comprise approximately 16 teams from 13 ODP zones. Each zone will enter one team and the larger zones will enter two teams. The tournament will start with bracket play consisting of four brackets of four seeded teams, conducted by the USAWP national staff and the USAWP High Performance Director.
The coaching staff will be sending out a Zone team training date so until then please continue to train with your club team.
